Ella: 17 Years of Portraits

One of the great things about photography is that it allows us to stop and reflect on all those little moments that make up a lifetime. Here at Greer Portrait Studio, we’ve been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to photograph one of our clients each year for nearly two decades. Ella’s parents first brought her into our studio when she was just two months old, and we’ve been watching her grow ever since.

Over the course of the past 17 years, Ella has blossomed into an intelligent, caring young woman with a variety of hobbies and interests. From the birth of her sister in 2003 to her first ballet recital, Ella has already experienced a lot in her lifetime, and not all of it has been easy. Two years ago, Ella was also diagnosed with juvenile diabetes.

That’s why we’d like to give our readers a chance to donate to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation—an organization that’s committed to finding a cure for this disease which affects Ella and millions of other people across the country. You can donate online here, and browse the gallery below to see 17 years of Ella’s life in portraits.
